We are shocked and saddened by the horrifying news coming from our good friends at Common Roots Brewing Company. We are grateful for the warmth and camaraderie that Christian, Bert & co. have always shown us and we are heartened by the news that their staff is safe.

What sets the craft beer community apart is the tight bond that form between brewers, beer fans, and the community at large — and we are ready to contribute to that storied tradition by helping in any way possible.

We have already been in touch with The Ruck, Franklin Alley Social Club, Slidin’ Dirty Troy, The Shop, among many other Troy neighbors that are eager to help. We will work with the Troy Craft Beer Committee to raise funds, celebrate Common Roots, and show the strength of our kickass beer community. We’ll be announcing more information shortly.

For now, we will continue to keep Christian, Bert, their families and their staff in our thoughts.
