Just an FYI to our taproom visitors — roadwork has started on the Congress and 4th Street blocks near the taproom. This may affect on-street parking and cause traffic delays. #troy #construction #traffic #headache

Troy, NY – City Hall

City officials have issued an updated traffic advisory for lane closures on Congress Street and 4th Street in downtown Troy for work associated with a private construction project at 100 Congress Street. Beginning Wednesday, April 24th, the left lane of Congress Street between 6th Avenue and 4th Street, and the right lane of 4th Street between Ferry Street and Congress Street, will be closed to vehicle traffic. The lane closures are anticipated to be in effect from April 24, 2019 – May 1, 2020.

Street parking will be maintained in the vicinity of the construction site. Traffic delays are expected. Motorists should reduce speeds, observe all posted signage, and use caution near work zones to ensure the safety of workers & pedestrians.

The CDTA bus stop located at the intersection of Congress Street and 4th Street will be moved to the corner of State Street and 4th Street for the duration of construction.

Stay Tuned While We Look for a New Space:

After over 10 years of crafting beer, building community, and making incredible memories, our time at this space has ended. While we’ve faced our share of obstacles, we’re incredibly proud of what we’ve built and beyond grateful for everyone who has been part of this journey. Our last day of business was April 13.

Through the years, we’ve had so much fun—hosting incredible bands, unforgettable events, and, most importantly, building a community that has meant everything to us. We can’t thank everyone enough who has supported us, stuck by our side, and shared in this adventure through the good, the great, and the tough times. Your support has meant the world to us, and we appreciate you more than we can say.

To everyone who has worked with us, for us, and had fun with us along the way—thank you. You’ve made Rare Form what it is, and we’re forever grateful.

As for what’s next? We’re searching for a new home, but until we find the right space, Rare Form will take a pause. This isn’t goodbye forever — just a break.
