Rare Forums: Grisly Deaths & Haunted Breweries

We are thrilled to once again host Rare Forums: Evenings with Gerry Lorentz! SUNY Empire professor and distinguished beer historian, Gerry writes and discusses history of beer culture in New York State. Join us for the next edition: Grisly Deaths & Haunted Breweries.

Join us for a spooky, Halloween-appropriate iteration of Rare Forums! Breweries were dangerous places and many workers died, often in horrible ways. In the 19th century, a fascination with the occult led some people to believe that certain breweries were haunted. Stay Tuned While We Look for a New Space:

After over 10 years of crafting beer, building community, and making incredible memories, our time at this space has ended. While we’ve faced our share of obstacles, we’re incredibly proud of what we’ve built and beyond grateful for everyone who has been part of this journey. Our last day of business was April 13.

Through the years, we’ve had so much fun—hosting incredible bands, unforgettable events, and, most importantly, building a community that has meant everything to us. We can’t thank everyone enough who has supported us, stuck by our side, and shared in this adventure through the good, the great, and the tough times. Your support has meant the world to us, and we appreciate you more than we can say.

To everyone who has worked with us, for us, and had fun with us along the way—thank you. You’ve made Rare Form what it is, and we’re forever grateful.

As for what’s next? We’re searching for a new home, but until we find the right space, Rare Form will take a pause. This isn’t goodbye forever — just a break.
